My background

As the current President of Surepoint Emergency Centers, I bring a forward-thinking and dynamic leadership style to the MISD School Board, a skill honed from my previous roles as a Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Operations. This blend of contemporary leadership with my extensive background in managing complex environments and budgets uniquely positions me to tackle the intricate challenges faced by the school board.

As a long-time PTA member, MISD volunteer, and parent, I’m deeply invested in our community. My husband, Brent, and I, along with our daughters Madison and Raegan, have been committed Mansfield residents, actively participating in local events and school activities.

I believe my primary role as a school board member is to prioritize our students while maintaining MISD's reputation and managing growth responsibly. My approach is centered on fiscal responsibility and enhancing the experiences of both students and faculty, ensuring that every decision made contributes positively to our educational community.

As the President of Surepoint Emergency Centers, I've honed skills crucial for overseeing large-scale budgets and complex operations. This expertise is directly applicable to oversight of the budget of Mansfield ISD, the largest employer in our community.

School districts, much like any large organization, require astute financial stewardship to ensure resources are allocated effectively, balancing the needs of today with the demands of tomorrow. My background equips me with a unique perspective and a skill set that is essential for this task.
